Location:Crewkerne, Somerset
Salary:Β£12.50- Β£13 per hour DOE
Working Hours:Monday β Friday, flexibility between8:00am β 6:00pm(example 10:00amβ6:00pm)
Duration:Fixed-term 3- months contract, permanent position available for the right candidate

We are looking for a confident and organisedSchool Office Administrator/ bookkeeper to join a friendly and welcoming school inCrewkerne. This is a front-of-house administrative role supporting the day-to-day running of the school office and acting as the first point of contact for staff, students, parents, and visitors.
The Job:
β’ Manage front-of-house reception duties including welcoming visitors and answering telephone/email enquiries
β’ Provide administrative support to school leadership and staff
β’ Assist with pupil records, attendance monitoring, and general filing
β’ Handle communications, schedule appointments, and maintain diaries
β’ Support the smooth running of day-to-day office tasks in a busy environment
β’ Manage day to day financial transactions
β’ process invoices, purchase orders and petty cash
β’ Payroll assistance
β’ Budget tracking and financial reporting
The Requirements:
β’ Previous administrative or secretarial experience in an office or school setting
β’ Confident using Microsoft Office and general IT systems
β’ Friendly, professional, and proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
β’ Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
β’ A valid and enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
