An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to support the design, development, and certification of aerospace products from concept through to delivery. Working within a design engineering environment, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support new product introduction and ongoing product improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer requirements, technical specifications, and Statements of Work
- Support bids and sales activities with technical proposals and certification plans
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD designs ensuring manufacturability and compliance
- Prepare certification documentation including test plans, reports, and compliance checklists
- Maintain design documentation, including design changes and reviews
- Support root‑cause analysis and non‑conformance investigations
- Liaise with suppliers on development, testing, and documentation
- Participate in project reviews and customer/supplier meetings
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Experience in a design and/or certification engineering environment
- Knowledge of aerospace or regulated industry standards (e.g. CAA, EASA, FAA, or similar)
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture
- Experience with GD
