Our client based in Dorchester is seeking a Factory Maintenance Operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be deemed as an all-rounder who will be responsible for the upkeep/running of their production lines, machines and equipment.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Daily checks on the production machines and equipment
- Checking water treatment systems and sludge removal
- Meter readings and monitoring of other processes
- Carry out general electrical and plumbing fixes
- Use of company van to deliver products locally
- Use of a forklift β training will be provided if licence not held
- Caretaking duties of the outdoor areas
Skills and experience required:
- Previous maintenance experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Technical aptitude
- Ability to diagnose and problem-solve
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and pay attention to detail
- Teamwork is essential in this role
