Our client is seeking an EXPERIENCED FLOORING LABOURER to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. We are looking for candidates with experience working as a Flooring Labourer. You need to be confident in the following:
- Site Preparation: Removing existing flooring, scraping, cleaning, and repairing subfloors using sand, cement, or levelling compounds.
- Installation Assistance: Cutting flooring materials (carpet, vinyl, wood, tiles) to size and assisting with installation using adhesives, staples, or tack strips.
- Material Handling: Loading/unloading heavy materials, transporting tools, and ensuring the work area is tidy.
- Finishing Tasks: Applying sealant, grout, stain, or polish and trimming excess materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations on-site.
Please be aware if a permanent position is offered then self-employment status will be required.
Requirements:
- Physical fitness for lifting and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic math skills for measurements.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Candidates must hold:
- CV showing previous Flooring Labourer experience.
- Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance.
