The Company supports property developers and investors with access to funds for land, development and short-term property finance requirements. Typical loan sizes vary to a maximum of c£7.5m. Within the role, you will work with the sales team to help assess and build cases from point of enquiry. This will include creating initial credit papers, liaising with brokers and underwriting deals. Where deals are successfully underwritten, you will support the completion and transaction execution to fund the application. Once deals are funded, you will support the performance of the portfolio, including (but not limited to) collections, client relationship management and redemptions. For development loans, you will support site visits across the UK where required. Throughout, you will work closely with senior management as well as external stakeholders, such as lawyers and QS. Ultimately you will drive the pipeline of activity to achieve important deadlines and outcomes for the business and clients.
Responsibilities

- Review creditworthiness, risk factors and potential red flags across lending transactions

- Work with clients during the final 60 days of the loan term to support timely redemption
- Support senior management, legal advisers and other parties in managing defaults
- Help build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers and introducers
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the property finance or mortgage markets.
