City Calling is recruiting Van Drivers for airport operations in London. Our client is looking for reliable and professional Van Drivers to join a busy airport operation. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods, equipment and materials safely and efficiently, ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed on time. The role • Driving a company van safely and responsibly to and from airport locations • Completing scheduled collections and deliveries • Loading and unloading goods safely and securely • Ensuring all goods and equipment are correctly secured during transportation • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues • Following delivery instructions and designated routes • Liaising professionally with airport staff, customers and the transport team • Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation • Maintaining excellent timekeeping and meeting scheduled delivery and collection times • Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and presentable • Following all airport, company and health & safety procedures • Reporting any incidents, delays or issues to the transport team What you’ll need • Must be over 25 years old • Full UK driving licence • No more than 6 points on your driving licence • No DR10s or IN10s • No drink-driving, drug-driving or serious insurance-related offences • Previous van driving experience • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude • Good communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas Nice to have • Knowledge of Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) — desirable but not essential • Previous airport driving experience • Experience working in a logistics or transport environment • Knowledge of airport routes and procedures • Experience with time-critical deliveries and collections What we offer • Ongoing work within a busy airport operation • Competitive rates of pay • Weekly pay • Long-term opportunities for the right candidates • Regular driving work • Opportunity to work with an established City Calling client • Access to City Calling's wider portfolio of transport, logistics and construction clients across London and the South East Apply now — send your CV and driving licence details to City Calling, or call the team for a chat.
