Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Slinger/Signaller to join a large-scale construction project in Teesside. The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating lifting operations and ensuring safe communication between crane operators and ground teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing crane movements using approved hand and radio signals
- Ensuring lifting activities are conducted in line with lift plans
- Attaching, securing and detaching loads safely
- Inspecting lifting accessories prior to use
- Maintaining safe exclusion zones during lifting operations
- Reporting hazards or unsafe practices immediately
- Working in accordance with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Essential Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller Ticket
- Valid Safety Critical Medical
- Demonstrable experience in lifting operations
- Strong knowledge of lifting regulations and safety standards
- Ability to commute reliably to Teesside
- Right to work in the UK
Working Hours
Anticipated hours: 08:00 – 18:00 (to be confirmed prior to start date).
