  • Location: Teesside
  • Rate: To Be Confirmed
  • Payment Type: PAYE (Direct Employment – No Umbrella)
  • Duration: Long-Term Project (Up to 2 Years+, Potential Extension)

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Slinger/Signaller to join a large-scale construction project in Teesside. The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating lifting operations and ensuring safe communication between crane operators and ground teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directing crane movements using approved hand and radio signals
  • Ensuring lifting activities are conducted in line with lift plans
  • Attaching, securing and detaching loads safely
  • Inspecting lifting accessories prior to use
  • Maintaining safe exclusion zones during lifting operations
  • Reporting hazards or unsafe practices immediately
  • Working in accordance with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Essential Requirements

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller Ticket
  • Valid Safety Critical Medical
  • Demonstrable experience in lifting operations
  • Strong knowledge of lifting regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to commute reliably to Teesside
  • Right to work in the UK

Working Hours

Anticipated hours: 08:00 – 18:00 (to be confirmed prior to start date).
