Job Title: Road Sweeper – Construction Site (Canary Wharf)\\n\\n * Location: Canary Wharf, London\\n\\n * Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (CIS)\\n\\n * Contract Type: Temporary (Minimum 3 months)\\n\\n * Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours paid daily)\\n\\nJob Description:\\n\\nWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Road Sweeper to work on a busy construction site based in Canary Wharf, London. This is a full-time, site-based role offering a minimum of three months' work with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a valid Category C1 driving licence and a proactive attitude towards maintaining site cleanliness and safety.\\n\\nKey Duties & Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Operating a road sweeper vehicle to keep the construction site and surrounding areas clean and free of debris.\\n\\n * Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure the sweeper is in safe working condition.\\n\\n * Emptying debris and waste in designated areas in line with site regulations.\\n\\n * Maintaining cleanliness of haul roads, site entrances/exits, and pedestrian walkways.\\n\\n * Supporting site teams in upholding health and safety standards.\\n\\n * Reporting any hazards, defects, or near misses to site management.\\n\\n * Performing light labouring duties when the sweeper is not in use (as required).\\n\\nCandidate Requirements:\\n\\n * Category C1 Driving Licence – Essential\\n\\n * CSCS Card – Preferred but not essential\\n\\n * Previous experience operating a road sweeper on a construction site is advantageous\\n\\n * A strong awareness of health and safety practices\\n\\n * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently\\n\\n * Physically fit and prepared to work in varying weather conditions\\n\\nHow to Apply:\\n\\nIf you meet the above criteria and are interested in this opportunity, please click ‘Quick Apply’ through this platform or contact us directly using the number provided in the contact section.
