Assistant Technical Service Manager in London

Location: London Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience Industry: (M&E) / Fit-Out ### About the Role City Calling is working with an exciting, growing company within the fit-out industry that is looking for an ambitious Assistant Technical Services Manager to join their team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within M&E and technical services, working closely with the Technical Services Director/Manager and gaining hands-on experience across a variety of fit-out projects. The company is looking for someone they can develop and mould into the business as it grows. This role would suit someone with a good understanding of M&E services, a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in progressing within the industry. ### Summary of Duties Assist the Technical Services Director/Manager with the coordination and delivery of M&E services across fit-out projects. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to understand project requirements and identify potential issues. Support the review and coordination of M&E installations, ensuring works meet project specifications and relevant standards. Assist with identifying technical issues and coordinating solutions with contractors, consultants and project teams. Support the preparation and review of technical documentation, reports and project information. Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders to help ensure works progress efficiently. Assist with technical queries, inspections and the resolution of site-related issues. Work alongside the facilities management team, providing advice and support on M&E-related matters within buildings. Develop an understanding of building services, technical compliance and the wider fit-out process. ### Required Experience, Training, Qualifications or Authorisations Previous experience or knowledge of mechanical and electrical (M&E) building services. An understanding of M&E drawings and the ability to interpret technical information. Experience within the fit-out, construction, building services or facilities management industry would be beneficial. Candidates with either hands-on site experience or an office-based technical background will be considered. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. A willingness to learn, develop and take on additional responsibilities as the business grows. A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. ### What’s on Offer? Salary of £40,000–£50,000, depending on experience.
