Logistics Manager needed in a site based in Thetford (Government Project) * Location: Thetford * Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm (10 hours paid daily) * Duration: Long-Term * Rate: Negotiable (based on experience) We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the logistics operations on a major government construction project based in the Thetford area. This is a long-term opportunity for a confident and proactive individual with strong site management experience. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the movement of materials, plant, and personnel across a busy construction site * Supervise and coordinate a team of labourers, traffic marshalls, hoist drivers, cleaners, and various trades * Ensure smooth operation of site deliveries and waste removal * Maintain high health & safety standards on-site * Liaise with site management and subcontractors to meet project deadlines * Implement and enforce site logistics plans and traffic management strategies Requirements: * Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) * Black CSCS Card (Manager level) * Valid First Aid at Work certification * Proven experience in a logistics management role on busy construction sites * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills * Ability to manage multiple moving parts and keep site operations running smoothly This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile government project.
