City Calling is currently recruiting for Labourers to join a busy construction site in Iver. You will play a key role in supporting trades and site teams with general labouring duties, maintaining site safety and cleanliness, and ensuring that materials and equipment are handled correctly. We are particularly interested in candidates who live locally within the Bracknell area although all applicants are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors with daily tasks.
  • Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Moving materials and equipment around the site safely.
  • Following site health and safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Performing general labouring and manual handling tasks as required.

Requirements

  • CSCS Card
  • Experience in a similar role – Preferred but not essential; training and guidance will be provided.
  • Must be hardworking, punctual, and reliable.
  • Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
  • Must have valid right to work in the UK.
  • Full PPE (safety boots, hard hat, high-visibility vest) required.

About PAYE Umbrella

  • This role is paid through a PAYE Umbrella company, which means you are employed by the umbrella company rather than directly by the end client.
  • The umbrella company processes your pay, deducting standard employment costs (such as Employer’s National Insurance, holiday pay, and apprenticeship levy).
  • The assignment rate of £16.85 per hour includes these employment costs, and your final take-home pay will be shown clearly on your payslip after deductions.
