We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Minibus Driver to support transport operations on a major airport infrastructure programme. The candidate is required to hold a Full UK Driving Licence with D1 category and be able to provide a full five-year work history for security vetting purposes. This role involves passenger shuttle services from the Long Border Logistics Hub to various other locations across the airport estate. These locations will be both Airside and Landside. The role therefore requires the driver to ensure passengers are transported safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the minibus is safe, roadworthy, and compliant with operational standards
- Maintain the vehicle to a high standard, keeping it clean inside and out
- Operate scheduled and on-demand shuttle services to multiple drop-off and pick-up points across the airport estate
- Drive safely and responsibly in both Airside and Landside environments, following all airport regulations and security procedures
- Assist passengers when required, ensuring comfort, safety, and excellent customer service
- Complete journey logs, mileage records, and any required documentation accurately
- Report defects, incidents, or maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all company policies, health and safety requirements, and airport operational rules
Requirements
- Valid D1 category driving licence
- Ability to provide a full five-year employment history for background checks
