We are currently working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the electrical installation on a new-build care home project, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing building services contractor with a strong pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the electrical installation on a new-build care home project
  • Oversee the project from design and procurement through to completion and handover
  • Coordinate with mechanical, construction, and design teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Liaise with the client, consultants, and subcontractors on all electrical matters
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues to avoid delays
  • Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and site safety standards
  • Prepare and manage documentation including RAMS, progress reports, and cost forecasts
  • Supervise and support site-based electricians and subcontractors

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally within the building services or construction sector
  • Background in new-build care homes, healthcare or residential projects preferred
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and regulations (e.g. BS 7671)
  • SMSTS and valid ECS/CSCS card
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Full UK driving licence
