Delivery Administrator – Construction Project (Newmarket/Haverhill) * Location: Site-based between Newmarket & Haverhill * Duration: Long-term (Approx. 1 year, potentially longer) * Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (9.5 hours paid per day) * Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour * Clearance Requirements: EL1 check (can be processed while working) & Standard DBS check * CSCS Card: Not required, but beneficial Job Overview We are seeking a Delivery Administrator to join a high-profile government-sensitive construction project. This is a long-term role for an experienced administrator who can effectively manage timesheets, materials, and general construction admin duties. The ideal candidate will have strong site administration experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Overseeing and logging material deliveries, ensuring accurate records are maintained. * Collecting, reviewing, and submitting timesheets for site staff and operatives. * Tracking stock levels and liaising with suppliers for orders. * Handling emails, documentation, and compliance records. * Assisting in maintaining accurate records for audits and security clearance documentation. * Supporting project managers and site supervisors with administrative tasks. * Ensuring health & safety documentation is completed correctly and assisting in compliance with site regulations. Requirements * Strong administrative experience, preferably within a construction or logistics setting. * Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently. * Excellent attention to detail when handling timesheets, materials, and reports. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work on-site full-time (this is not a remote role). * CSCS Card is a bonus but NOT essential. Additional Information * EL1 security clearance is required for this role (can be processed while working). * A standard DBS check will also be carried out.
