About the Role
The Operations Manager plays a critical role within the Healthy Homes section within City Building with the main role being the management of specific business activities for our clients. The Operations Manager will oversee the site planning, delivery, and management of Healthy Homes daily operations. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, technical expertise, and financial management, ensuring that operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with client needs. You will manage a team of operatives and support services, ensuring that they are properly trained, supported, and equipped to perform their roles. You will lead the support of employees in service delivery, drive high quality work standards, and ensure consistent communication with clients. Alongside the Contracts Managers you will develop and assist with the management of the MSF repairs and maintenance programmes, ensuring that all necessary resource is allocated and effectively utilised to meet deadlines and quality standards. This will include assisting in the procurement of sub-contractors, attending meetings with clients to provide MSF repair updates, and reporting on overall KPI’s to management. The Operations Manager will be pivotal in delivering a compliant, efficient, and customer-focused service, whilst supporting the division’s growth, supporting an ethos of continuous improvement.

- Strong health and safety compliance knowledge and ability to enforce it across your team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with key stakeholders and an approachable manner, providing support to employees as required.
- A broad operational understanding and the ability to represent the organisation professionally.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
