Role Description

This full-time, on-site role for a Refrigeration Engineer is based in Edinburgh. The Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial refrigeration systems. Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, and ensuring the efficient operation of systems. In addition, the role involves interacting with clients to provide excellent customer service and ensure satisfaction with maintenance and repair work. On call will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of CO2 refrigeration systems preferable.
• Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in refrigeration or mechanical engineering
• Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
• Previous experience in a similar role within supermarkets, preferable.
