Multi Site Technician

Job Purpose:

This key position involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations within a specified region. The role includes maintaining electrical, mechanical, and building assets in ASDA stores efficiently and cost-effectively, while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the company professionally and develop good relationships with colleagues.
• Complete and log all PPMs and remedial tasks, ensuring legal compliance.
• Supervise and support the Maintenance Assistant, providing coaching and guidance.
• Respond promptly to service requests, assess job requirements, and perform repairs.
• Prioritize work to meet timescales and SLA agreements.
• Communicate with store management regarding repair issues.
• Conduct surveys, complete reports, and carry out alterations and installations within your technical scope.
• Perform general repairs on store sites, including building fabric and surfaces.
• Assist other MSTs as needed and participate in out-of-hours standby rotations.
• Recruit, manage, and update records for maintenance staff.
• Attend training and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• GCSE standard or equivalent.
• C&G 2382 (18th edition) and Level 3 core electrical qualification (e.g., C&G 2330, 2365).
• Desirable: familiarity with electrical certification, City & Guilds 2391, relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge of 3-phase electrics and ability to work independently and at heights.
• Current driving license.
