Fire & Security Technician

Location: Glasgow

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 42.5 Hours Per Week

Summary: Technical specialist responsible for first call response and maintenance of Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA, and Automatic Pedestrian Gates across designated stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPI’s set by the customer, including response, repair, first fix, and closure.
  • Ensure all planned, reactive and statutory works for CCTV are carried out in accordance with contractual obligations as set out in the City FM Bookcase.
  • Complete the PPM works within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately following laid‑down procedures and satisfactory standards.

Qualifications / Experience

  • GCSE standard.
  • Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds).
  • Fire alarm systems experience.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience with CCTV IP/analogue systems.
  • Current driving licence.
  • IPAF licence holder.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
