Role: Asset & PPM Specialist
Location: Glasgow Head Office
Salary: ÂŁ32,000 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Job Purpose
To develop and maintain a complete and accurate Asset Database and deliver all aspects of PPM planning, scheduling, and delivery including coordination and upload of all associated documentation to ensure Contractual and Legal compliance.
Key Accountabilities
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop strong working relationships with internal and external SMEs and Key Stake Holders
- Manage Team to ensure delivery of all objectives.
- Support and Develop Team providing leadership and guidance, to create a productive, positive and cohesive working environment.
- Help maintain a complete and accurate asset database ensuring that asset movements are captured by key stake holders.
- Work in partnership with Subcontractor Team to ensure all tagged assets maintained by a third party contractor are registered on system with complete and accurate information.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive Asset Warranty Library in collaboration with City IT and M&S key stake holders.
- Conduct periodic review and analysis of the asset database and take necessary actions to resolve inaccuracies in data quality.
- Create, implement and maintain a comprehensive PPM schedule to ensure that all legal and contractual responsibilities are discharged.
- Support creation of Power BI / Excel Pivot reporting when required.
- Track PPMs to completion, upload certificates into the database and provide management reports as required to drive performance.
- Work in partnership with SMEs and Managed Contract Team to ensure that the PPM schedule is accurate and complete.
- Conduct gap analysis to ensure that PPM schedules align to the asset database.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, influencing and implementing change
- Carry out any reasonable management request
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills , Abilities And Behaviours
- Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Asset and PPM Management in relation to large multi-site portfolios
- Proven track record in leading and managing a team is essential
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Highly competent in use of Micro Soft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to present to a senior audience
- Excellent planning, organising and prioritisation skills
- Results focused, takes accountability for own performance and that of the team
- Ability to persuade and influence
- Ability to work under pressure
