We are looking for sensitive and aware candidates who can handle challenges due to the client not always being aware of what they are saying or doing, due to the nature of this role you will be caring for a client who has suffered a stroke.

Every day will be different, you need patience, resilience, flexibility and consistency is key. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.

This is a very social package which can include attending multiple social events, large social gatherings and can even involve travelling abroad with the client.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in community care would be essential for this position, especially with challenging behaviours.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • The ability to use various moving and handling equipment which is provided.
