We support service users in the following locations across London: Sudbury Hill, Neasden, Harrow, Stanmore, Edgeware, Cannon Park, Wembley.
Pay Rate: Mon- Sat £13.85ph, Sun £14.20. Shifts work across seven days a week, DAY - 06:00/7:00 am – 2:00 pm, EVENING – 2:00 pm – 10:00/11:00 pm.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients to live safer and supported lives in their own homes.
- Following individual care plans and assisting with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet, and supporting them with their medication.
- Helping with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.
- Assisting with domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
- Helping clients overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities.
- Providing companionship to prevent loneliness through engaging conversations, activities, and outings.
- Managing medication by collecting prescriptions, providing reminders, and assisting with administration as per care plan guidelines.
- Preparing nutritious meals considering dietary requirements and preferences.
- Keeping the home tidy and clean.
- Assisting with mobility, including transfers and using mobility aids.
- Monitoring health and reporting changes in the client's condition.
- Encouraging participation in community activities and maintaining connections with family and friends.
- Providing emotional support to clients experiencing anxiety, loneliness, or distress.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition.
- Ensuring a safe living environment and responding appropriately to emergencies.
- Collaborating with other care team members and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- No social care experience required; we value compassion and communication skills.
