Shifts: Monday - Friday 8 am - 7 pm (Days) and Monday - Sunday, 10 pm - 8 am (Waking Nights)

So, what will your day look like?

You will be joining the dedicated care team for a beautiful 8-year-old girl who lives at home in Aston, Birmingham, with her loving family. She requires full clinical care and highly specialised support due to a severe spinal cord injury. Her daily care includes intermittent catheterisation, PEG feeds, medication, bowel care, cough assist, and nebulisers.

Despite her complex care needs, she is a bright and expressive little girl who enjoys engaging through her favourite activities. She requires a highly trained and compassionate care team to support her both at home and during school hours, as well as to provide essential overnight respite for her family.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a child and her family, working as part of a supportive, committed and skilled care team.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience working with PEG feeding, suctioning, tracheostomy care, ventilation, bowel and catheter care is essential for this role.
  • Experience with children is beneficial but not essential.
