Location: Sheerness

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Shifts Available: Fridays - 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm & Saturdays - 10 am - 1 pm

Job Description

The client is a young gentleman in his teens who has Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay & PICA. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable and has a strong emotional resilience to join our existing team where no two days are the same.

Your day-to-day would include providing personal care, infection control and constant supervision to ensure a safe environment at all times at home and in the community.

Qualifications

Experience in complex care is essential for this position, inclusive of the following:

  • Challenging Behaviours
  • Knowledge of Autism or ADHD
  • The ability to read social cues of non-verbal clients.
  • The ability to interpret body language or to use visual aids such as PECS.
  • Consistency, emotional resilience & the ability to build trust.
