Location: Sheerness

Pay: £13 per hour

Shifts: Bank for annual leave and sickness - Fridays - 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm & Saturdays - 10 am - 1 pm

What you'll do: We are supporting a young gentleman in his teens with Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and PICA, and are looking for a compassionate, reliable individual with strong emotional resilience to join our established team. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will provide person-centred care, including personal care support, infection prevention and control, and consistent supervision to ensure his safety and wellbeing at all times, both at home and within the community. This position offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference while working within a supportive and experienced team environment.

What you'll need: Experience in complex care is essential for this position prior to being interviewed, this is inclusive of the following:

  • Challenging Behaviours
  • Knowledge of Autism or ADHD
  • The ability to read social cues of non-verbal clients.
  • The ability to interpret body language or to use visual aids such as PECS.
  • Consistency, emotional resilience & the ability to build trust.
