We are currently looking for experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to support our client with complex care needs in his home in Burton Latimer. Our client has Motor Neurone Disease, he lives with his wife and they have a small pet dog in their home.
The ideal candidate will be caring, kind, patient-focused, possess strong communication skills and the appropriate clinical experience to deliver high-quality care. As a Care Assistant working within this care package, you will provide a high standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG for medication and feeding
- Ventilator management
- Moving and handling
- Suction and cough assist
- Catheter care
- Supporting daily routines
Qualifications
The successful candidate will ideally have care experience, ideally within complex care. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference.
