The predicted salary is between 14.5 - 14.5 £ per hour.
Location: Detling
Pay Rate: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour
Shifts Available: 2:1 Days & Nights (8 am - 8 pm | 8 pm - 8 am) 2-3 Shifts Per Week
Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role.
The client is a young adult who has an acquired brain injury and is non-verbal, and due to this, the client would require several complex needs that need to be met, such as:
- PEG feeds (PEJ)
- Intermittent Catheter Care
- Medication Administration
- Monitoring the client's condition for seizures
- Using moving & handling equipment
Also please be aware that the client does have two dogs in the home and loves anyone who has a bubbly personality, keen to wear bright clothing and is a very clear communicator.
Qualifications
Experience in the following would be extremely advantageous for your application:
- Intermittent catheter care
- Suctioning machines
- PEJs
- Seizure management and anti-seizure medication, rescue packs etc.
The only essential requirements are as follows:
- Clear Communication Skills
- A full valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, due to the location and transport links
