Location: Hoo, Medway

Pay: £16 per hour

Shifts: Nights - 10:30pm - 7:30am

What you'll do:

  • This challenging but rewarding role is for a child who has multiple complex care and clinical needs. On your day-to-day you will be required to complete the following tasks:
  • Intermittent Catheterisation
  • PEG Feed Management & Medication Administration via PEG
  • Oxygen Therapy
  • Suctioning
  • Support with Personal Care & Repositioning Using Appropriate Equipment
  • Providing Emotional Reassurance & Engagement With Strong Communication Skills, Reading Non-Verbal Social Cues.

  • Experience in complex care is essential for this position, inclusive of the following:
  • PEG Feeding (Mickey Button)
  • Non-Invasive Ventilation
  • Suctioning
  • Catheter Care
  • Bowel Management
  • Medication Administration
  • Moving & Handling equipment.
