Location: Durham, DH1

Pay Rate: Up to £13.25 per hour

Shifts Available: Term time only: 9.30 am – 3.30 pm - Waking Nights: Monday – Sunday 9:00 pm – 7.00 am

Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role.

This role is supporting our paediatric client with a genetic mutation, Epileptic Encephalopathy and Pharyngomalacia to attend school and be able to participate in school activities during the day. At nights you will be supporting the family with their bedtime routine and ensuring their airway and PEG is managed. They have a tracheostomy and use a ventilator to maintain their airway at night, they are given food and medication via a PEG and require assistance with mobility.

The ideal candidate will have experience looking after children with complex needs both at home and in the school setting. Our client enjoys spending time with their brother, family and carer, listening to music and age appropriate stories.
