What you’ll do:

We are currently looking for experienced and compassionate nurses to support our client with complex care needs in his home in Burton Latimer. Our client has Motor Neurone Disease, he lives with his wife and they have a small pet dog in their home.

The ideal candidate will be caring, kind, patient-focused, possess strong communication skills and the appropriate clinical experience to deliver high-quality care.

As a Registered Nurse working within this care package, you will provide a high standard of nursing care. There will be an up-to-date care plan for you to follow to ensure that you are aware of the client’s needs and wishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • PEG for medication and feeding
  • Ventilator management
  • Moving and handling
  • Suction and cough assist
  • Catheter care
  • Supporting daily routines

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin
  • Commitment to providing the best possible care for the client
  • To be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring and compassionate
  • Previous complex nurse experience
  • Experience in PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, catheter care, bowel management and ventilator experience is essential.
