What you’ll do: We are currently looking for experienced and compassionate nurses to support children with complex care needs in their homes. This role involves working across various locations within Essex and includes day and night shifts across the week. The ideal candidate will be caring, kind, patient-focused, possess strong communication skills and the appropriate clinical experience to deliver high-quality care.
As a Registered Nurse working within our paediatric care packages, you will provide a high standard of nursing care. There will be an up-to-date care plan for you to follow to ensure that you are aware of the child’s needs and wishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG for medication and feeding
- Ventilator management
- Moving and handling
- Suction and cough assist
- Catheter care
- Supporting daily routines
Qualifications: What we’re looking for:
- Registered Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin
- Commitment to providing the best possible care for the client
- To be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring and compassionate
- Previous complex nurse experience
- Experience in peg feeding, tracheostomy care, catheter care, bowel management and ventilator experience is essential.
The successful candidate will be a driver with access to a car to be able to travel to our clients' homes.
