- Pay Rate: £14.20 – £16.00 per hour plus 30p mileage.
- Shifts work across seven days a week:
- Day – 06:00/07:00 am – 02:00 pm
- Evening – 02:00 pm – 10:00/11:00 pm
Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities
Our care assistants provide daily support to enable clients to live safely and supported lives in their own homes. You will follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, using the toilet and medication administration. You will also help with practical tasks such as shopping, mealtimes and housework.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Companionship – providing a friendly presence and preventing loneliness
- Personal Care – all aspects of personal hygiene
- Medication – collecting prescriptions and providing reminders
- Mealtimes – preparing tasty meals
- Housekeeping – keeping the home as the client prefers
- Mobility – assisting with getting around
Qualifications:
Experience in social care is not required; we value compassion, resilience and a willingness to learn. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the geographical nature of the role.
