Pay: £14 - £15 per hour
Shifts: Days & Nights - 12 Hour Shifts - 07:30am - 19:30pm / 19:30pm - 07:30am
Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role.
We are supporting a young lady in her thirties with cerebral palsy who requires a multitude of clinical interventions. We are looking for a compassionate, reliable individual with strong emotional resilience to join our established team. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will provide person-centred care, including providing personal care, food preparation, offering social engagement and emotional support whilst assisting our registered general nurses with the clinical tasks involved. This position offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference while working within a supportive and experienced team environment, where flexibility, reliability and consistency is key.
In terms of social engagement, she enjoys spending time with her pet cat, arts and crafts and frequent day trips to the local parks.
Qualifications
Experience in complex care in particular with tracheostomies, PEG feeding and catheter care would be desirable but previous care experience is essential for this position prior to being interviewed, this is inclusive of the following:
- Knowledge of Cerebral Palsy.
- Moving & Handling Equipment.
