We are CCH. With 14,000 colleagues across 32 care companies, we have one purpose: to make sure no one in need of care is ever forgotten or left behind. We’re not only changing lives, we’re transforming the care sector. Our people-first approach puts care professionals at the centre of everything we do. Our goal is simple: to be the best place to work in care.

This is a unique opportunity to work within our Extra Care Housing Schemes, supporting residents to live safely and independently in their own apartments. This role has no scheduled care calls. Instead, you'll provide a reassuring on-site presence, offering support whenever it's needed, responding to emergency alarms, and promoting the wellbeing of residents throughout your shift.

Whether you're providing reassurance after a fall, responding to an emergency call, supporting with mobility, or simply spending time with residents to reduce loneliness, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming community.

What you'll do:

  • Provide a visible, reassuring presence throughout the Extra Care scheme.
  • Respond quickly to emergency alarms and resident requests for assistance.
  • Deliver personal care when required with dignity, compassion and respect.
  • Support residents with mobility, medication, nutrition and general wellbeing.
  • Build positive relationships and offer companionship to help reduce isolation.
  • Encourage residents to remain as independent as possible.
  • Promote participation in social activities and community life within the scheme.
  • Work closely with the on-site care team to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality support.

What we’re looking for:

No experience? No problem. Whether you’re starting your career or bringing past care experience, what matters most is your heart. We’re looking for people who are:

  • Naturally caring and compassionate
  • Reliable and committed
  • Eager to learn (with our full training and support)

Here’s what makes us different:

  • Full training & paid induction - no experience needed
  • Flexibility - work patterns that fit your lifestyle
  • Career growth - clear progression into senior & leadership roles
  • Family-friendly - enhanced leave for life’s big moments
  • National opportunities - relocate and continue your career within CCH
  • Perks & discounts - Blue Light Card, Cycle to Work, RAF scheme, and more
