Citrus Recruit is recruiting for a Business Development Manager covering the North of England for an automotive insurance-based company that operates across the UK and Europe. This is a remote role, and you will be required to cover the North of England.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by increasing warranties policy volumes and dealer accounts in line with agreed targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, maintaining a strategic target log.
- Manage new leads end‑to‑end, ensuring timely responses and smooth onboarding of dealers.
- Maintain accurate records and forecasts using CRM systems, reporting on KPIs and sales performance.
- Conduct regular dealer reviews, implement improvement plans, and provide training where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and oversee proper use of digital assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service during the 12‑week onboarding process.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in new business acquisitions and relationship building.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in CRM usage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Full driving licence.
Salary: Up to £38,000 + uncapped commission structure. 25 days holiday. Birthday day off. Death in Service. Critical illness cover. Auto‑enrolment pension after 3 months, 5% employee contribution, 4% employer contribution. Private medical insurance.
