Citrus Recruit are excited to be working with a well-known brand to recruit for a Graduate Energy Consultant.

You'll play a key role in delivering complex projects to strict deadlines, working collaboratively across teams, communicating confidently with stakeholders, and continually developing your technical expertise within the fast‐moving UK energy sector.

This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll work closely with clients, visit sites, analyse energy data and provide practical recommendations that help organisations improve their energy efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities & day to day duties

As a Graduate Energy Consultant you will be responsible for

  • Provide compliance and renewable‐energy consultancy support across client projects, including audits, assessments and accreditation management.
  • Scope, plan and deliver technical work packages, gathering information both onsite and remotely.
  • Produce clear reports, feasibility studies and compliance documentation, presenting findings confidently to stakeholders.
  • Manage applications and amendments for key energy schemes.
  • Build strong client relationships, identifying additional opportunities and supporting issue resolution throughout each project.

Skills & experience required

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in renewable energy or engineering, with technical understanding of renewable energy technologies.
  • Proven experience delivering projects to strict deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisation, administration and communication skills, including confident writing and presenting.
  • Intermediate IT skills (Excel, Word, CRM) and willingness to continually deepen technical expertise.
  • Interest in energy efficiency, sustainability and wider environmental impacts.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
