Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to cover the Northeast. Our client is an automotive insurance-based company, who operate across the UK and Europe. The company is a leading provider of insurance and warranties into the automotive market. Your role will be meeting and speaking to independent and franchised dealerships across your patch.

We are looking for someone who can provide high-quality account management and be driven to drive sales across the area. The role is a remote position, but you must live within or around Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham, Teesside/Cleveland, Darlington, Harrogate or York.

Responsibilities & day to day duties

As a Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining productive and professional relationships with new and existing independent and franchised dealerships to grow the revenue in your patch.
  • Driving the business forward by aiming to exceed targets set by the business.
  • Successfully managing accounts by implementing effective strategies, analysing performance, and suggesting improvements for the client where required.
  • Tracking performance by producing sales forecasting reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Regularly researching and looking for potential new business leads and market opportunities, then presenting them to win the business.
Skills & experience required
  • Proven track record of sales achievement – preferably selling into the automotive industries.
  • Highly competent in the use of all modern IT systems and the use of CRM tools.
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience in the automotive sector.
