Citrus Recruit are excited to be working with a well-known brand to recruit for an experienced Energy Relationship Manager.

This is a client facing, relationship manager role where you will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, dealing with any queries, offering energy related advice or market information, whilst also spotting commercial opportunities.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the energy sector, looking to work for a marketing leading business, offering great benefits and progression.

It’s a hybrid role, where you must be able to travel into the office near to Kenilworth 2 days per week.

Responsibilities & day to day duties

As a Relationship Manager you will be responsible for

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key energy clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Provide clear, evidence‑based energy advice covering procurement, trading strategy, risk and market updates.
  • Support clients with contract reviews, renewals and negotiations across electricity and gas.
  • Guide clients through compliance and incentive schemes including FIT, ROC, REGO, RHI and Capacity Market.
  • Identify and develop opportunities in energy generation, cost reduction, efficiency and resilience.
  • Coordinate seamless service delivery across internal teams, ensuring actions, deadlines and expectations are met.
  • Communicate complex technical and market information in a clear, accessible way for non‑specialists.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, governance, data protection and professional client service.

Skills & experience required.

  • Experience in the energy industry within account management, consultancy, procurement or advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of electricity and gas supply arrangements, market dynamics, supplier relationships and contract structures.
  • Skilled in advising clients on procurement options, trading strategies, purchasing approaches and risk management.
  • Confident communicator able to simplify technical, commercial and regulatory information for non‑specialists and build credibility with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, support decision‑making and deliver clear, evidence‑backed advice.
  • Strong problem‑solver with the ability to coordinate specialists, assess risks and make balanced recommendations under pressure.
  • Commercially aware, able to identify risks to client value and maintain accurate, well‑documented records and updates.
  • Organised, resilient and proactive, able to coordinate multiple teams, manage deadlines and go the extra mile while maintaining sound judgement

Benefits

  • Salary of up to £45,000
  • Hybrid opportunity – 2 days per week in the office.
  • 37 hours per week, 08.45 – 17.15 Monday to Thursday. 08.45 – 16.15 Friday
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • Pension - 5% Employer contribution (after probation) 3% during probation. 5% Employee contribution
