As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining new and existing relationships with new clients but also now introducers such as brokers and accountants.

  • Achieve sales targets in line with company expectations

  • Building and maintaining a level of new enquiries, identify and secure opportunities for new business and contacts

  • Conduct sales meetings with prospective clients when required and complete loan templates

  • Deliver excellent customer service to all clients, prospective clients, internal and external customers

  • Manage sales pipeline and diarise effectively, following up with outstanding enquires and account management as required

As a Business Development Manager, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a Business Development role within Financial Services or another industry

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Excellent numeracy skills and confidence to work with numbers

  • Driven to succeed and exceed sales targets

  • Intermediate Excel knowledge, good keyboard skills and competent user of other Microsoft Office programs including Power Point

  • Good listening skills, understand how and when to action information, and how and when to delegate to the appropriate person

  • Salary of up to £44,000

  • Uncapped commission structure

  • 23 days holiday + BH (closed over Christmas)

  • Option to buy additional holiday

  • Pay mileage at 45p a mile

  • Death in service policy
