Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Account Manager for an award-winning events company. As an Account Manager, you’re responsible for bringing in new business and maximising/servicing the existing clients you have. There is progression as you grow into the role to move into pure Account Management as your client base does grow. Our client is a forward-thinking tech company based in the events industry space. They have a market-leading virtual, hybrid, and in-person event platform that takes engagement to the next level, offering interactive features such as real-time video and chat networking, live polling, and video breakout rooms. The ideal candidate will be able to commute to Dorset 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities & day to day duties

  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing customers in order to win new accounts and maximise existing business
  • Manage a variety of different clients and take them through the whole sales process, including onboarding and then growing the account to gain long term relationships
  • Pipeline management of new business and prospecting new accounts - Scoping out new projects, creating and sending proposals
  • Software demonstrations
  • Onboarding new customers through different channels such as inbound leads, outbound prospecting, networking

Skills & experience required

  • Experience in an Account Manager, Business Development or client facing role
  • Comfortable with the whole sales process, including new business and growing existing accounts
  • Excellent listening skills – ability to build and keep relationships
  • Highly organised and excellent administration skills
  • Driving license & passport required – happy to travel to several events annually

  • Salary up to £55,000
  • Team bonus structure – approx. £2000 per month
