Citrus Recruit are excited to be working with a global organisation to recruit for an experienced Sales Account Manager. The successful candidate will have experience with Ground Support Equipment. You will be working as part of a global team and have the opportunity to work with top-tier clients across Europe. You'll be managing Global key accounts and developing strategic sales initiatives for new customers. We're looking for someone who has a passion for building lasting client relationships whilst driving business growth. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the primary contact for clients, responsible for nurturing and expanding business relationships. Your role will involve regularly engaging with key decision-makers, visiting them in person when required to maintain and strengthen long-term partnerships. The role will involve a lot of travel so you must be comfortable with regular travel across Europe on a weekly basis and occasionally the US.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
- Maintaining relationships and growing new business opportunities with customers, visiting face to face as and when required.
- Build and maintain solid business relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
- Develop tailored sales strategies for specific accounts to maximise business opportunities.
- Create sales proposals and deliver product presentations to potential customers.
- Prepare and submit tenders, ensuring accuracy in legal and financial negotiations.
- Work with internal teams to ensure the highest customer service levels.
- Attend and assist in preparing for industry trade shows and seminars.
Skills & experience required
- Experienced in Account Management/Business Development with Ground Support Equipment within an airport environment.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with a focus on long-term customer alliances.
- Fluent in either Dutch or German.
- Ability to prepare and negotiate tenders, legal terms, and financial conditions.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend related events.
- Full driving license; must be comfortable with regular travel across Europe (on a weekly basis) and occasionally the US.
Benefits package
- Salary £70,000 DoE
- Bonus paid annually - circa £15,000
- Car allowance of £8,220 p/a
- 25 days holiday plus B/H
