Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of our client for a Sales Executive.
You will be working in a small friendly office and supporting the sales team on the launch of a new product.
There are elements of this role that will be client facing, so you must be confident with speaking to customers on the phone, on email and face to face.
We’re looking for someone who has experience with Industrial Products manufacturing/ distribution and some knowledge of laser welding/ welding or engineering, either in a Sales or Sales Support role.
The ideal candidate will be looking to progress into a Business Development role.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for:
- Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals.
- Meetings with the customer base to spot new business opportunities
- Lead generation and qualification, handling all inbound customer enquiries and creating quotations
- Working on CRM, Subject, SAP, and Excel.
- Support the Product Manager and Sales Consultant for Laser Welding
- Attend networking events, and customer meetings, providing product demonstrations
Skills & experience required.
- Sales/ Sales Support experience within Laser Welding/ Welding, or Engineering
- Experience of communicating with customers by telephone or face to face
- Confident speaking with clients
- Ability to be proactive and use initiative
- Computer literate – A very good knowledge of MS Word/Excel and Outlook.
- Driving License – to be able to visit clients
