Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a Financial Services company who are a lending specialist. You will play a key part in the next step of their growth plans. Working within your postcode territory, you will be prospecting new and existing businesses to grow your loan book and earning potential. The successful candidate will have experience in a Business Development role within financial services or a similar sector.
Activity prospecting new customers on a daily basis, managing a self-generated and ever-growing sales pipeline. This is a remote role, where you must live in or around Ipswich, Norwich and Cambridge.
Responsibilities & day to day dutiesAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Self-generate leads, building a sales pipeline of potential lenders
- Self-appoint and conduct sales meetings with prospective clients on a weekly basis
- Identify new and maintain existing relationships with clients as well as introducers such as brokers and accountants
- React in a timely manner to all enquiries
- Deliver excellent customer service to all clients, prospective clients, internal and external stakeholders
- Manage sales pipeline and diarise effectively, following up with outstanding enquiries and account management as required
As a Business Development Manager, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a Business Development role within Financial Services or similar sector
- Ability to self-generate leads and make your own appointments
- Proven track record in winning new business in a B2B environment
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal as well as numeracy skills
- Driven to succeed and exceed sales targets
Salary of up to £46,000
Uncapped commission structure
