Citrus Recruit are excited to be working with a global organisation to recruit for an experienced Sales Account Manager. You will be working as part of a global team and have the opportunity to work with top-tier clients, manage key accounts, and develop strategic sales initiatives. We are looking for someone who has a passion for building lasting client relationships and driving business growth.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the primary contact for clients, responsible for nurturing and expanding business relationships. Your role will involve regularly engaging with key decision-makers, visiting them in person when required to maintain and strengthen long-term partnerships. The role will involve a lot of travel so you must be comfortable with regular travel across the UK, Europe and occasionally the US. The successful candidate will have a background with Ground Support Equipment or Industrial Equipment.
Responsibilities & day to day duties- Maintaining relationships and growing new business opportunities with customers, visiting face to face as and when required.
- Build and maintain solid business relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
- Develop tailored sales strategies for specific accounts to maximise business opportunities.
- Create sales proposals and deliver product presentations to potential customers.
- Prepare and submit tenders, ensuring accuracy in legal and financial negotiations.
- Work with internal teams to ensure the highest customer service levels.
- Attend and assist in preparing for industry trade shows and seminars.
- Background in Account Management/ Business Development within a manufacturing environment, Aviation, GSE, machinery.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with a focus on long-term customer alliances.
- Ability to prepare and negotiate tenders, legal terms, and financial conditions.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Full driving license; must be comfortable with regular travel across the UK and Europe and occasionally the US.
- Salary of Circa £55,000
- Bonus paid annually – circa £15,000
