Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for an Account Manager to cover the Scotland location. Our client is an automotive insurance-based company, who operate across the UK and Europe. The company is a leading provider of insurance and warranties in the automotive market. Your role will be covering the whole of Scotland (mainly targeting the big cities), meeting and speaking to dealerships and garages. We are looking for someone who is driven to drive sales across the area, take ownership of the existing accounts, but also generate new business sales.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
- Establishing and maintaining productive and professional relationships with new and existing clients to grow the business
- Driving the business forward by aiming to exceed targets set by the business
- Successfully manage accounts by implementing effective strategies, analysing performance, and suggesting improvements for the client where required
- Tracking performance by producing sales forecasting reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Regularly researching and looking for potential new business leads and market opportunities, then presenting them to win the business
Skills & experience required
- Proven track record of sales achievement selling into the automotive sector, specifically dealerships
- Highly competent in the use of all modern IT systems and the use of CRM tools
- Ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Experience in the automotive sector

- OTE for this region is £53,000
