Compliance and Controls Expert – Banking – MUNICH/FRANKFURT

My client is a long standing and highly reputable listed Financial Services provider with a rich history spanning over 200 years. They operate in over 100 locations globally and are currently looking for a Compliance and Controls expert to join their team in either Munich or Frankfurt.

The role will involve meeting key senior figures in order to ascertain the efficiency of the existing controls framework with a view to identifying improvements for the company\’s global compliance control framework.

You will be responsible for testing these controls and making recommendations as to how to improve their operating effectiveness. My client has emphasised that the right candidate must be comfortable communicating their findings and recommendations to senior figures within the company.

My client has established some minimum requirements.

• An understanding of COSO Internal Control
• 3+ years experience working with internal control methodology in either Compliance, Risk or Audit.
• Fluency in both German and English
• Willingness to travel up to 20% around the EMEA region
