My client, based in Mannheim and operating globally, is a force within the automotive manufacturing arena. With the continued growth and development and expansion of oversees operations in the last 12 months, there has been an opportunity to create a specific IT Security Audit team in order to service their infrastructure, network and online needs.
The specific requirements for this role are geared more toward a candidate with solid audit experience and technical background, demonstrating a good working knowledge of programmes such as ACL, SAP, IDEA and TeamMate. Candidates with extensive experience working with Wintel (Windows) and Unix software will be considered very desirable. Database knowledge of Oracle is essential.
Ideally, the candidate will have proven these qualities in a commercial or industrial environment; however, applicants with a financial services background should still apply if they have the ability to demonstrate their technical aptitude.
The role itself will centre on continuous development, improvement and implementation of IT Infrastructure development. The ability to analyse risk and confidently put forward solutions will be essential in this role, as well as data analysis and presentation – and with reporting to be produced to director level and indeed to the audit committee, a strong minded and professional personality is required.
There is a very minimal commitment to travel for at least 18 months as the main focus of this role will centre around the development of IT security within the company. After this 18 month period and due to my client's international operations, there will be opportunities to develop your career at a more senior level and also across a variety of desirable international locations.
A fantastic base salary will be rewarded to the right candidate, with a top level bonus scheme and healthcare also included.
