My client is an engineering and construction giant with a global presence. I have been asked to assist in finding a new Corporate Controller to join the team, due to an internal promotion.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for direct supervision of all accounting and financial functions.
- Supervision of the monthly close process.
- Collection of accounts receivable, supervising accounts payable, payroll, monthly reporting for the owner, monthly preparation of a reforecast, annual preparation of a budget, assist in the preparation of quarterly tax projections.
- Implement policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues in addition to create procedures to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience within a heavy manufacturing organisation.
- Fluent English, German and Russian would be hugely advantageous.
- 4+ years within a controlling function.
- My client is specifically looking for someone CFA qualified.
- Eligible to move at work in Germany at short notice.
