My client is a global financial services institution that provides a number of products to clients in over 50 countries around the world. There is a requirement to strengthen the compliance team in their Luxembourg entity ASAP.

As the new Compliance Officer, your role will include:

  • You will act as the registered Compliance Officer with the CSSF and act as the key point of contact for the CSSF representing the business.
  • You will oversee a broad range of compliance aspects for the Luxembourg entity.
  • Active mitigation of compliance and controlling risks by developing procedures and ensuring these are implemented effectively throughout the business.
  • Reporting to senior stakeholders within the business and developing long term relationships.

Compliance Officer requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience explicitly within the fund management industry.
  • Excellent background of compliance or risk/control.
  • Strong team building skills.
  • Extensive experience within the Luxembourg market.
  • Fluent English. Fluent French preferable.

The level at which you will join the company is negotiable; there is remit to take on a junior candidate of around 5 years experience, or a much more senior profile. Consequently, the salary available will be dependant upon experience, but could be as high as 100k EUR.
