This is a financial planning support role for someone who is Level 4 Diploma qualified, or close to qualification, and wants to build a long-term career towards becoming a Financial Adviser. We’re looking for a motivated and technically minded individual to join Citrus Financial in Sevenoaks. This is a great opportunity for someone who already has experience in a UK financial planning or wealth management firm and wants to take the next step in their career.
You’ll work closely with our advisers and paraplanner, supporting the advice process through research, report preparation, client administration and meeting support. For the right person, this role offers a genuine pathway towards becoming a Financial Adviser over time.
In this role, you will:
- Support Financial Advisers with research, illustrations and new business applications
- Help prepare financial plans and simple suitability reports
- Attend client meetings with advisers when required
- Manage key pre- and post-meeting tasks
- Liaise with providers, third parties and clients
- Maintain compliant records and support ongoing advice work
- Build technical knowledge across the full financial planning process
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or is working towards it
- Will complete the Diploma if not already qualified
- Has experience in a UK financial planning, adviser support or wealth management environment
- Understands provider platforms and new business processing
- Is organised, accurate and comfortable working in a regulated environment
- Wants to build a long-term career in financial planning, with the potential to become an adviser
