THE ROLE
Monday to Friday 16:00pm - 21:00pm OR 17:00pm - 22:00pm. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our operations team to ensure our cleaning services run smoothly across multiple sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage cleaner attendance and shift cover (AM & PM), ensuring staff clock in and out correctly.
- Assist with rota planning, scheduling, and covering sickness and holidays.
- Support recruitment of new staff via phone, email, and Zoom.
- Send onboarding documentation and support new starters through induction.
- Assist in managing mobile cleaners, carpet cleaning teams, and waste teams.
- Monitor cleaning standards and implement corrective action plans where required.
- Ensure all processes and procedures are in place, followed, and documented.
- Maintain accurate absence records (sickness, holidays, etc.).
- Ensure cleaning services meet agreed standards and site specifications.
- Respond promptly to emails and support tickets, maintaining audit-ready records.
- Support operations with recruiting, inducting, training, and motivating staff.
- Assist the Operations Director with performance management, conduct issues, and annual appraisals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships via phone and email.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular contact.
- Liaise closely with Area Supervisors and site teams to manage site-specific requirements.
- Proactively resolve issues as they arise, including: organising keys, delivering equipment in emergencies, and supporting frontline staff when needed.
